The Background: From Exhibition to Implementation
During a major Medical Equipment Expo, Dr. Bhanu Prabhakar visited the Syona Roots’ booth to explore seating solutions for his healthcare facility. He was impressed by the sturdy construction, reliable build quality, and ergonomic design of Syona’s products.
Seeing the products in an exhibition setup set a high benchmark. The hospital management wanted the exact balance of tactile durability, high finish, and contemporary aesthetics to translate seamlessly into their actual clinical spaces—without losing quality in large-scale deployment.

- Patient Fatigue During Wait Times: Outpatient departments (OPD) and diagnostic wait times can be stressful. Stiff, unsupportive conventional metal or plastic benches often aggravate patient fatigue and physical discomfort.
- Specialized Department Needs: Beyond public areas, doctor consultation chambers required advanced posture support for prolonged sitting, while lab diagnostics required adaptable, high-rise seating for technical staff.
